We had a blast workshopping old wetsuits with Surfrider Vancouver Island. People got creative and made everything from beer cozies to straw cases, iPad cases to growler cooler, and even bikini's and this hilarious speedo shown below!  The leftover bits of neoprene were collected to make yoga mats. "[Sunday] marked the 3rd and final day of the Rip Curl Pro Tofino! Under sunny skies 10 champions were crowned in their respective divisions. California's own Tia Blanco and Elijah Fox won Womens and Mens Pro divisions while local Tofician Reed Platenius went back to back with final heat wins in both the U16 Boys and Open Mens.  Rip Curl Canada's Mathea Olin was crowned champion in U16 Girls and runner-up to Tia in Womens Pro!
